Singer Lily Allen is changing her professional name to her married name of Lily Rose Cooper, according to NME.
Although her new moniker pales in comparison to Snoop Lion, the notoriously loud-mouthed singer (who can forget her stoush with Elton John?) had announced her retirement from singing two years ago, although a tweet back in June has revealed she is heading back to the studio to work on new material.
Allen says there is no release date set for the material, but all future releases will be under the name Lily Rose Cooper.
"It’s great to work at my own pace, with no commitments other than to make music" she says. "I'm excited to be heading back into the studio".
The Smile singer has also recently confirmed she is pregnant again, and says she was surprised no one guessed she was with child after her appearance with Professor Green at The Stone Roses' second Heaton Park show on June 30.
The pair duetted on the 2010 single Just Be Good To Green.
