Foo Fighters – Concrete and Gold Australian Tour 2018

Who would ever thought that Dave Grohl's and Taylor Hawkins' one-off Sydney show last August was just a taste of a bigger blow to come? Save some fireworks 'cause Dave, Taylor and the rest of the 11-time Grammy Award-winning band Foo Fighters are kicking off 2018 with a massive Australian tour in support of their ninth studio album 'Concrete and Gold'. They will be rocking stadiums in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in January—what a great way to start the year!

'Concrete and Gold' was released last month to rave reviews. It sat atop the US Billboard 200 charts on its debut week, earning the band's second chart-topper after 2011's 'Wasting Light'. It spawned the singles "Run", "The Sky Is a Neighborhood", "Arrows" and a track of the same title. The accompanying tour will see the band perform all these hits along with some signature songs like 'Walk', 'Learn to Fly', 'The Pretender' and 'Everlong' to name a few.

Joining Foo Fighters at all shows as very special guests will be their rock contemporaries, Weezer. Having been in the rock music scene for over 20 years now, these rock behemoths will help tear up stages with their bag full of hits including "Beverly Hills", "Say It Ain't So" and "Island In The Sun". The band's catalogue of hits will even get thicker with the release of their 11th studio album called 'Pacific Daydream' by end of October.

Apart from Weezer, an awesome list of support acts will be present too. Cosmic Kahuna will warm the Perth show up whilst Amyl and the Sniffers will kickstart the Adelaide show. DZ Deathrays and The Preatures will open the Brisbane and Sydney show respectively. The Melbourne show, on the other hand, will be opened by hardcore punk rockers, Clowns.

When you have rock icons Foo Fighters plus Weezer and top-calibre supports on stage, tickets are definitely worth fighting for. Book yours now 'cause they will surely sell out!
